Steam the broccoli in a steamer basket for three to five minutes or until tender. Chop into small pieces and place in a large bowl. Let it cool for two minutes.
Add the chicken to the same bowl. Add the shredded cheese, paprika, and green onions, if desired. Season with salt and pepper and mix well to combine.
Form the meat mixture into equal patties approximately four inches (10cm) in diameter.
Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for three to four minutes per side or until cooked through.
Serve in between lettuce leaves with a slice of tomato and a mayonnaise. Enjoy!
