Ingredients
  

  • 12 ozs Chicken Thighs (boneless, skinless)
  • 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (divided)
  • 2 tsps Shawarma Spice Blend
  • Sea Salt (to taste)
  • Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 2/3 cup Orzo (dry)
  • 1 1/4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 tsp Parsley (chopped fine)

Method
 

  1. Place the chicken in a bowl and add half of the oil and spice blend. Toss well to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a large pan over medium heat and add the remaining oil. Once hot, add the chicken and sear on all sides until browned and cooked through, about 14 to 15 minutes total. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. Add the orzo and stir in the broth. Reduce the heat to medium-low and bring to a simmer. Cook for nine to 10 minutes, stirring frequently to avoid any sticking or until the orzo is cooked al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Divide the orzo and chicken onto plates and top with parsley. Enjoy!
